Behavioral health disorders occur when an individual’s behavior and overall emotional well-being are disturbed in some manner. When adolescents or teens suffer from a behavioral health disorder, their everyday lives are negatively affected, as are the lives of those around them. If left untreated, behavioral health disorders can have detrimental effects on children and adolescents in their present lives as well as on their futures. Untreated behavioral health disorders can lead to academic failure, suspension or expulsion from school, deteriorated interpersonal relationships, and social isolation, among many others.
At Millcreek Behavioral Health, located in Arkansas, our facility provides treatment specifically designed for children and adolescents who are suffering from a variety of different behavioral health disorders.
