  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Options for telehealth visitation are continuously evaluated so that our patients can remain connected to their loved ones.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are being monitored and utilized.

  • We are in communication with our local health department to receive important community-specific updates.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

The CDC has provided a list of easy tips that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then immediately dispose of the tissue.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Why Choose Us

Millcreek Behavioral Health is a leading residential treatment center in Arkansas for children and teens struggling with mental and behavioral health issues, developmental disorders, and addiction.

About Millcreek Behavioral Health

At Millcreek Behavioral Health, we are entirely committed to supplying effective, individualized care to children and adolescents who are facing the challenges associated with a number of behavioral, developmental, and mental health concerns.

Our treatment center focuses on providing a number of different programming options, including a developmental disabilities program, a psychiatric disorders program, and an education & school-based program. All of our programming, as well as the therapies we provide within those programs, helps each one of our patients receive the specific type of care they need so that they can be successful in their treatment and recovery.

Our dedication to providing customized treatment means that there will be no two patients who will have the exact same experience here at Millcreek. However, there are overarching features that are included at all levels of care, as well as specific core principles that are set in place to guide our interactions with all of our patients and their family members.

A Dignified & Respectful Environment

Our commitment to treating each individual with empathy and compassion is our utmost priority. We view each patient as a valued individual who deserves to be treated with both respect and dignity.

One of the more challenging aspects of mental illness and behavioral and developmental conditions is how much these conditions can eat away at one’s feelings of self-worth. Regardless of what our patients have experienced before coming to Millcreek, we applaud the inner strength that carried them to this point, and we honor the insights that they bring into their treatment experiences as a whole.

Superior Clinical Programming

In addition to providing a compassionate, understanding experience for everyone, those who work at Millcreek also uphold the highest standards of their fields of expertise. Our team of professionals includes individuals such as psychiatrists, medical doctors, psychologists, registered nurses, therapists, counselors, recreational therapists, teachers, occupational therapists, and more.

Every member of our staff comes together to help children and adolescents who are facing mental health and behavioral concerns, including the following:

  • Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • Intermittent explosive disorder (IED)
  • Conduct disorder
  • Sexually maladaptive behaviors
  • Aggression
  • Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD)
  • Autism spectrum disorder
  • Intellectual disability
  • Anxiety
  • Abuse & neglect
  • Depression
  • Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Self-harm
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Substance abuse

In addition to addressing these pressing issues, we, at Millcreek Behavioral Health, involve families and loved ones into our patients’ care plans, as we realize that they, too, have been affected by these complex conditions. We view these issues as family issues, ensuring that we help every member of the family unit so that true healing can occur.
